We are on the lookout for talented individuals to join our growing team! The Web Developer Intern Role: sgCarMart is looking for a Web Developer Intern to join our 100-strong sgCarMart team! During your internship, you will work closely with our team of experienced web developers to participate and contribute in the entire web development life cycle - planning, design, coding, testing, review and finally, the launch where you bring ideas to fruition. If you are driven and passionate about website creations AND willing to put in the hours to learn (we're not going to lie - this will be challenging yet fulfilling at the same time), we're happy to have you onboard our team! Daily life as an Intern at sgCarMart:

• You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of web-based projects using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, JQuery, etc

• Assist the IT team to develop, manage & maintain our websites (Includes troubleshooting and bug fixes)

• Learn how to conduct user acceptance tests for change requests, bug fixes and new features to ensure our website is optimized for cross-browser usage

• Ad-hoc daily tasks (ads activation, microsite changes, etc)

• Conduct research to improvement development process (QA script for automation testing)

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to design and implement new functionalities

Requirements:

• Current Information Technology or Computer Science student in Local Polytechnic or University (or relevant disciplines)

• Proficient in LAMP (Linux, Apache HTTP Server, MySQL, PHP), XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML/HTML 5

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP

• Able to write standard-based, semantic HTML and CSS and modern layouts using table-less design

• Committed to producing well-commented and structured code

• Passionate and positive, with a can-do attitude

Internship Allowance:

• $800 to $1,000 Per Month
