Your Role

This role will work closely with our global and local marketing teams to ensure that the consumer experience we deliver, regardless of touchpoint, is world class.
It is critical we engage meaningfully with our target consumers before purchase and serve their needs in the most effective and efficient way possible as they move towards a purchase whether that be via our retailers (in-store or online) or directly on our own sites.
We are looking for someone focused on optimally converting consumers with a purchase intent to buy our brands and products. This role is focused on building the knowledge, capabilities, ways of working and toolsets required to optimize the path to purchase for those consumers in market. The role will also focus on the Key User Experience and User Interface optimizations that deliver optimal consumer experiences putting the customer at the heart of what we do and how we communicate.
The focus will primarily be online branded properties where we have full control on the message and the technologies that we use to drive prospective consumers through to purchase. You will need to be analytical, technically minded, consumer focused and very strongly data driven.

A Typical Day

  • Define the conversion path and conversion points across owned and 3rd party channels
  • Describe the journey visually to ensure we have a shared understanding of the path we are looking to optimize
  • Articulate how the various touchpoints (our sites and other D2C digital properties, retailer sites, in-store) support one another in moving the consumer towards a transaction
  • Identify and clearly define the conversion points we are optimizing towards with associated metrics
  • Define and own owned platforms strategy, including requirements for digital content, with an eye toward driving conversion rates and consumer engagement
  • Define and drive ways of working, methodologies and tools that drive higher conversion rates
  • Work with global and local digital teams to ensure user experience is as frictionless as possible, and make recommendations to improve conversion rates at each step of the user flow
  • Work with markets to test and deploy new ways of working, methodologies and tools that contribute to higher performance (measured in conversion ratios)
  • Identify new and relevant conversion opportunities - social buying, conversion in search, in app and how ratings/reviews can be leveraged to encourage conversion
  • Partner with local teams to drive conversion optimization and overall web site analytics
  • Focus on engagement and optimization of owned platforms beyond web site to ensure a premium consumer experience
  • Collaborate closely with our insights and effectiveness team on conversion metrics
  • Determine the most effective conversion metrics to measure what matters from a CX and commercial point of view
  • Establish process for audience and campaign optimization based on consumer insight data
  • Deploy these metrics across the organization to have a common vocabulary and shared way of measuring, ensure the sharing of best practice and adoption of conversion mentality
  • Create/Deploy dashboards and other measurement/reporting formats to continually drive performance improvements
  • Analyze and report data to measure effectiveness of campaigns using GA360
  • Own and manage the User Experience planning, mapping and strategy
  • Drive the continuous improvement on the website user experience

EDUCATION
University degree (MBA preferred)

EXPERIENCE
  • At least 7+ years experience - preference is to have worked internationally and have strong branded property
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform (GMP) is required
