The WeChat team in Singapore is responsible for managing and growing our core product including messaging and social networking for users around the world (excluding the Chinese mainland).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize key processes in areas including account integrity, customer support, community operations, and quality assurance.
  • Identify potential operational bottlenecks or project risks and devise plans for resolution or mitigation.
  • Manage service providers to more efficiently and effectively handle direct support interactions with users.
  • Work directly with WeChat\'s product and engineering teams to design new solutions that will keep WeChat users safe and satisfied in a scalable manner.
Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Minimum: Bachelor\'s degree; Technical degree preferred
  • 1+ years work experience in a role involving project management, problem solving, and technical systems
  • Team management experience in the areas of customer support, community operations, and/or account integrity
  • Superior project management skills including analytical ability, prioritization skills, a details-oriented manner, and a constant drive to optimize processes
  • Comfortable handling both the technical aspects of a project while maintaining a strong dedication to improving user experience
  • Professional experience working on a consumer-oriented internet product preferred
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin to deal with international stakeholders and stakeholders who are based in HQ
