Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct welding repairs and maintenance services on equipment and machinery as needed
- Inspect and diagnose welding problems to determine necessary repairs
- Carry out welding work according to drawings, specifications, and standards
- Ensure that all welding work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and minimize risk of injury or damage to equipment
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Proficiency in different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Knowledge of welding materials, properties, and safe handling practices
- Experience in welding repairs and maintenance, preferably in a service technician role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
- Willingness to commit to overtime and weekend work if required
- Working location: Pioneer (Company transport provided)
- Working hours: 5 working days per week, Mon - Fri, 8:15am - 5:30pm
- Monday to Friday
