Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
Assist on incident/accident investigation
Responsible for daily inspection and toolbox meeting
Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance
Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection
Good communication skills to liaise with associates, clients, government authorities
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes
Previous experience in high-rise building construction projects (5 storey building or more)
Either one of the following:
Min 5 years\' experience/registration as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO), or;
Min 2 years\' experience/registration as an Earth Control Measures Officer (ECMO)
