Windows And Linux Engineer
Job Description
The Engineer will mainly support Windows Server 2019, with limited involvement in Linux and ESXi systems.
Conducting regular patching and maintaining patch records
Performing follow-ups on Vulnerability Assessment (VA) scan findings
Verifying that backup processes are running successfully
Conducting bi-weekly user access reviews
Managing hardware validity and inventory
Coordinating with PMO on server capacity planning
Implementing basic security configurations aligned with CIS standards
Conducting health checks on systems and infrastructure
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
Managing user accounts, including CyberArk for on-prem systems
Administering Active Directory and DNS (user accounts, GPOs, CNAME records)
Preparing asset management reports for PMO review
Provisioning and managing virtual servers
Handling Level 2 incident management (alerts, server downtime, etc.)
Managing infrastructure applications: vCenter, CyberArk, Veeam, WSUS, Symantec, TrendMicro, ManageEngine, MSSP-related issues and license renewals
Maintaining system firmware for ESXi hosts and vCenter
Administering SMS Gateway routers and contact lists
Supporting CIS configuration setups as required
Providing Level 2 support for BU infrastructure projects
Reporting to Certis' designated Manager and supporting operational requireme
