JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for implementing, monitoring, reviewing and ensuring compliance with the WSHE Management System
• Make formal submissions and coordinate with the authorities where necessary
• Prepare and conduct WSH Induction Program for all employees entering the work site
• Part of the Risk Management Team and will be involved in reviewing and commenting on Risk Assessments
• Plan, coordinate and assist in Internal & External Safety and Health audits (ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001/CONSASS/etc)
• Conduct daily site inspections, regularly review safety of work processes and implement follow-up corrective actions where necessary to ensure workplace safety and compliance with approved Safe Work Practices (SWP)
• Develop and implement programs to raise employees’ awareness of work risks and to help cultivate a strong safety culture within the organization
• All other associated works to maintain and improve the Health and Safety standards of the organization
• Manage sub-contractors' safety procedures and ensure compliance with the organization's Health and Safety standards, policies and practices
• Administrate monthly reporting of Safety and Health statistics
• Communicate with project management team on issues relating to safety lapses/deficiencies/non-compliances and ensure the immediate implementation of corrective actions in a timely manner
• Plan, organize and conduct in–house trainings for all workers as and when necessary
• Establish a system to record all near-misses and immediately implement improvement measures
• Oversee all other matters relating to WSH
  

• Candidate must be a MOM registered WSHO
• Diploma or Degree in Safety, Health and Environment Workplace Certification is essential
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the construction industry.
• Applicants with a good grasp of written English will have an advantage
• Possessing recognized ECO qualifications will be a plus
• Must be responsible, organized and self-initiated
• Must be able to collaborate and be a team-player
