Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations. Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules
Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies
Continuous improvement on the EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800 management standards
On-sites monitoring and conducting regular safety inspections on construction work site
Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to the WSH team on safety initiatives and necessary changes
Implement practical pollution control measures, material wastage control and 3-R programs to safeguard the environment
Carry out training to all workers, staff and site personnel
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Environment/Health/Safety or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment) is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
