Roles & Responsibilities

• To assist the project manager in advising on all safety, health, environmental and welfare matters, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations and relevant safety standards.
• Responsible for the health, safety and environmental control, and for assisting the Head, of Safety to update the Safety Management System Manual and ensuring that all works adhere to the procedures and instructions
• To ensure that all assessments as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same.
• To review daily health, safety and environmental inspections, prepare reports and follow up with the Contractor for closure.
• To review the investigations of all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
• To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or client's H.S.E. guidance.

Requirement:

• Must be a registered Workplace safety officer.
• Must be a registered Environmental Control Officer & ECMO
• Should attain Confined Space Safety Assessor Course
• Should attain Risk Management Course
• Should attain Work at Height & Rescue Course
• Prefer with Lifting Supervisor Safety Course
• Must attain Management of Hazardous Substances Course
• Must be a registered Fire Safety Manager
• Familiar with Internal Auditor Conversion ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 2017
• Familiar with Internal Auditor Course-(ISO 45001:2018) (OHSMS)
• Familiar Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems Lead Auditor 2021
