Job Description

Safety Program Development

: Design, implement, and manage safety programs to meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Risk Assessment:

Conduct thorough risk assessments for industrial construction and process plant activities, identifying potential hazards and recommending preventive measures.

Training and Education

: Develop and deliver training programs on safety protocols, equipment usage, and emergency procedures. Ensure that all personnel are well-versed in safety best practices.

Incident Investigation

: Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses. Analyze root causes and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions.

Regulatory Compliance

: Stay abreast of relevant safety regulations and standards. Ensure that the company's operations align with local, state, and federal safety requirements.

Safety Audits and Inspections

: Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and address potential issues. Collaborate with site supervisors to implement corrective actions.

Emergency Response Planning

: Develop and maintain emergency response plans. Conduct drills and exercises to ensure readiness for potential emergencies.

Safety Communication

: Facilitate clear and effective communication regarding safety policies, procedures, and initiatives. Promote a culture of safety awareness and responsibility.

Record Keeping

: Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training sessions. Generate reports to track and analyze safety performance.

Collaboration

: Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders to integrate safety practices seamlessly into ongoing construction and plant processes.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Diplomaspecialized in Environmental/Health/Safetyor equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in workplace safety coordination, with a focus on industrial construction and process plants. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and influence a safety-centric culture. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant safety software.
