Implement and monitor environmental management systems at work site.
Ensure the compliance of the worksite Health, Safety and Environmental plans, policies and control procedures.
Take charge all matters related to environmental & health issue.
Conduct site safety inspection and put up report on follow-up actions on Health, Safety and Environmental related issues.
Ensure corrective and preventive action is being taken during deviation or non-conformance on HSE activities & report to Project Manager immediately of such sub-standard activities.
Conduct Safety Committee meetings.
Compile and submit reports as required.
Any other job duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
Candidates with at least 3 years of experience (post-registration) are highly preferred
Candidates with prior experience in the construction industry are highly preferred
Candidates with Managing Work At Heights Certification will be at an advantage.
Candidates with Confined Space Safety Assessor Certification will be at an advantage.
Candidates with Lifting Supervisor Course Certification will be at an advantage.
Candidates with First Aid Course Certification will be at an advantage.
Candidates must be willing to work in construction environment
Experience in EPC on pharmaceutical projects will be an added advantage.
