• Familiar with the Environmental Protection Act.
• Implement and monitor environmental management systems at work site.
• Ensure the compliance of the worksite Health, Safety and Environmental plans, policies and control procedures.
• Take charge all matters related to environmental & health issue.
• Conduct site safety inspection and put up report on follow-up actions on Health, Safety and Environmental related issues.
• Ensure corrective and preventive action is being taken during deviation or non-conformance on HSE activities & report to Project Manager immediately of such sub-standard activities.
• Conduct Safety Committee meetings.
• Compile and submit reports as required.
• Any other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
• Candidates with at least 3 years of experience (post-registration) are highly preferred
• Candidates with prior experience in the construction industry are highly preferred
• Candidates with Managing Work At Heights Certification will be at an advantage.
• Candidates with Confined Space Safety Assessor Certification will be at an advantage.
• Candidates with Lifting Supervisor Course Certification will be at an advantage.
• Candidates with First Aid Course Certification will be at an advantage.
• Candidates must be willing to work in construction environment
• Experience in EPC on pharmaceutical projects will be an added advantage.
