Job Description

Ensure site operations comply with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, MOM regulations, and HDB requirements. Conduct daily and weekly site safety inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe work practices. Enforce safe work procedures, proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and good housekeeping standards. Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) for all site activities. Conduct toolbox meetings / safety briefings / induction for workers and subcontractors. Maintain and update all safety documentation: inspection checklists, safety reports, incident/near-miss records, safety equipment registers. Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend corrective and preventive measures. Liaise with HDB, MOM inspectors, consultants, and project management during audits, inspections, and meetings. Support and promote a positive safety culture on site by engaging workers and supervisors in safety practices. Assist in preparing safety reports and minutes for WSH Committee meetings. Ensure compliance with environmental and health requirements relevant to HDB projects (e.g., noise, dust, cleanliness).

Job Requirements

Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH Supervisor / Advanced Certificate in WSH - Level B)

. Completion of

Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS)

course preferred. Valid certifications such as

Work-at-Height

,

Confined Space Supervisor/Assessor

, and

Risk Management

will be an advantage. Minimum

1-2 years' experience

as Safety Supervisor, preferably on

HDB projects

. Familiar with

HDB regulations, site safety standards, and audit requirements

. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with workers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities. * Good record keeping, reporting, and incident investigation skills.
