Job Description

• Liaise closely with Management & Project Manager to implement, maintain and improve WSH Management Systems, culture and project level.
• Assist and advise the Project Manager on EHS planning for overall project scope and detailed activities.
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising, recommend to the management and other in charge of the workplace reasonably practicable measures and safe work procedures to control & mitigate such risks to prevent incident occurrences.
• Liaise, handle and keep proper records of all related authorities dealings in complying with their respective requirements.
• Lead daily Toolbox meeting, safety meetings, safety inspections, safety training and all other initiatives or activities to maintain a high level of safety at worksite so to prevent workplace accidents
• Responsible for accident and incident reporting and investigations and advise on the remedial measure to prevent any recurrence.
• Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities to prevent fines, imposition of demerit points and SWO from the authorities.
• Conduct regular Environmental, Health and Safety Audits to ensure compliance with EHSMS requirements and preparation for third-party external EHSMS audit.
• Build and maintain good rapport with relevant authorities in matters relating EHS.
• Work with project team members and sub-contractors to provide a safe working environment.
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project

• Possess at least a Specialist Diploma in WSH and/or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Workplace safety and health (WSH)-related.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a WSHO in the construction industry
• MOM registered WSH Officer.
