Client: MNC, A1 Main Contractor.
Location: North & Central Area (2 opening positions)
Salary: $ 4.5- $7 K, Based on Qualification, Experience & Capability.
Project: Mega Building & LTA / MRT Projects
Remuneration: 14 / 17 days annual leave with Year end bonus + VB based on performance.
IMPORTANT NOTE: STRICTLY NO QUOTA for ANY work PassesRemark: ONLY those who are currently in Singapore with MIN 5 years of MRT Project Experience will be considered, Thank YouRequirements: * Diploma /Degree in Workplace Safety Health
Registered WSHO & ECO With MOM / NEA, with a valid Cert.
Possess Certificates in Confined Space Safety, BCSS (Tunnelling), or Supervisor in WSH In Construction (Tunnelling)
Min 4 years of LTA Tunnelling Project experience, 6 years in major construction projects
Ability to maintain a good relationship with clients and authority personnel
Knowledge of Lifting plans is advantageous
Ability to assess risk and advise project managers and stakeholders
Write good minutes of meetings and conduct WSH related meeting
Conduct WSH site inspection, identify hazards, recommend, and ensure corrective actions
Lead a WSH team and maintain excellence in WSH practices.
Good working knowledge of construction equipment
Able to Conduct internal audits and work with External auditors to achieve excellence in WSH performance
Responsibilities:
To develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Policies, Programs, and Procedures
To assist in complying with current WSH legislation and/or regulations to ensure that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of personnel, staff, and visitors
To establish budget proposals for the operation of the HSE office and specific training programs
Increase HSE awareness at all levels within the organization
To investigate and report on all serious/critical personal injury accidents occurring to personnel, staff, and visitors to the Project Manager, and to assist in the investigation of all accidents/incidents that result in substantial damage to equipment and property
Investigate and report complaints of hazardous working conditions to the Project Manager or the Construction Manager and other appropriate senior staff & respond to employees\' safety concerns.
Conduct, as necessary, the safety inspection of any site facility & assist WSH Committees
Respond to fires and other emergencies on project property, and remove hazardous waste
To receive reports from and respond to orders issued by MOM inspectors;
WSH testing and/or evaluations of the workplace by external agencies/consultants as may be necessary
Act as liaison with all related governmental bodies and regulating agencies
Coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, workplace inspections, and other matters related to implementing safety procedures on project facilities
Coordinate emergency procedures and act as emergency on-site coordinator
Assist executive staff, senior administrators, principals, and supervisors in emergency preparedness
Develop, review, and update appropriate sections of the Emergency Procedures Manual
To liaise with the Client\'s Emergency planners, update plans, organize exercises, and evaluate procedures
To liaise with the onsite fire department regarding emergency procedures, communications, and fire safety education programs
Coordinate the selection and distribution of emergency communications equipment to site and administrative/support departments
Manage site Risk Management and implement accordingly for the works
To assume other duties as may be assigned from time to time
