1 Year Contract Regulatory / Investment Compliance Associate

Job Description
Job Duties:
- Part of the Regulatory Reporting and Investment Compliance function, covering both pre- and/or post-trade responsibilities to ensure compliance to regulatory, client and risk frameworks.
- Assist and participate in coding, review, testing and implementation of compliance rules across trade execution and compliance platforms.
- Assessing potential deals and preparation of regulatory filings and documentations
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices and inform the relevant business units of applicable requirements.
- Coming up with process improvements, strategic solution for process and control modifications within the group and across other relevant business units.
- Stakeholders\' managements
- Participate in ad hoc projects
- Bachelor\'s degree in either Accounting/Finance, Business, Legal or a similar field.
- Prior experience within Regulatory Compliance and/or Investment Monitoring / Portfolio Compliance function would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with financial products across all asset classes would be beneficial, but minimally with equity products.
- Good appreciation of regulations and investment monitoring requirements.
- Possesses strong analytical skills, comfortable in handling data (up to large datasets).
- Possesses strong communication skills and confidence to effectively engage multiple stakeholders.
