Description
As part of our dynamic Shared Services Team, the Accountant will be responsible for the General Ledgers.
He / She is expected to ensure timely and accuracy in our financials, in line with statutory requirements, internal controls and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Manual Journal Entries and Intercompany Chargeback
- Perform Bank Reconciliation and Fixed Assets Schedules
- Ensure timely and accurate Month End Closing, BSPL Flux Analysis, and Quarterly Reporting
- Prepare Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
- Prepare Quarterly GST Reporting
- Support Compliance, Controls, Audit, and Tax matters
- Demonstrate Customer focus and Build effective partnership with various Stakeholder groups
- Exhibit Continuous Process Improvements (Best Practices & Metric Reporting) in Processes
- Maintain Desktop procedure (DTP) as part of Business Continuity
- Assist ad-hoc assignments
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Subject Matter Expertise in Record to Report process, minimum 5 years experience in Shared Services or Fast-paced MNC environment
- Proficient in Singapore GST reporting regulations
- Knowledge in Singapore FRS & US GAAP
- Proactive, Independent, Meticulous Professional with Integrity and strong Interpersonal & Communication skills
- Ability to identify Process gaps / Control lapses / Inefficiencies
- Tenacity to achieve results amidst competing priorities and tight timelines
- Proficient in SAP & Microsoft Excel
