2023 APAC Graduate Programme - Information Technology & Operations

Our two-year graduate programme is designed to provide you with first class training and immediate responsibility, it gives you the support and development you need to start a successful career in financial services. You can join us in one of several business areas and, depending on your qualifications and experience, you can apply to join us as either an analyst or an associate.

For: Final year students or recent graduates with a bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in any disciplines from a recognized university

Who can apply?
To be considered for the placement, you will:

• Apply as a recent graduate, final year undergraduate, or master\'s student in any discipline;
• Possess GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0 or above (or equivalent) in any discipline;
• Have to be fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are an advantage); and
• Demonstrate methodical, logical, solution-driven thinking, with commercial awareness and a keen interest in latest finance topics as well as market trends.

Training
From day one, you will start your business specific technical and financial training, alongside personal skills development aimed at equipping you with the knowledge you need to get you the best possible start in your career. Working alongside our teams of industry leading specialists, you will gain on-the-job training throughout your two-year programme taking you along a development path to build your expertise and broaden your base of skills. You will also have the chance to experience other parts of the business through cross-entity projects, which will help you understand how we approach complex work and give you the chance to develop a strong internal network.

Mentor & Buddy
Throughout the programme, you will be mentored by experienced managers and team members, as well as pairing with a buddy from our early career cohorts who will make sure you are getting everything you need to grow.

What you will do?

• To assist on functional/technical deliverables for Global eBanking platform (Front Office & Back Office Applications) for BAU & New Initiatives of Supply Chain IT department.
• To work on IT specific assignments in supply chain financing IT in close collaboration with Functional/BA, Technical Delivery and Project Management teams.
• To work with IT Infrastructure team (Middleware, Unix, Network, and Security) for application setup and technical refresh projects.
• To work on tasks related to application version control ( bitbucket) and DevSecOps implementation (Jenkins, Maven, Sonarqube, Docker, Ansible).
• Interest to learn and build Supply chain financing / Trade financing domain knowledge.
• Analyzing relevant industry information and preparing presentations ahead of project meetings.
• Analyzing existing systems and offering new ideas for improvement.
• Participating in meetings, workshops, and team-building events.
• Compiling reports and making presentations to other staff members.
• Taking notes on experiences and keeping a log of things learned.
• To work closely with the Supervisor/mentor and different teams.
• To strictly adhere to Bank compliance, security policies and CIB ITO APAC standards/practices.
• Team player who uses interpersonal skills to build strong relationships, communicate effectively.
• Problem-solving self-starter who knows how to prioritize and manage time effectively.

\xc2\xb7 Having knowledge on below and strong intention and ability to learn further a definite plus:

o To latest trends and technologies being used in financial industry and financial domains like Supply Chain Financing/Trade Financing.

o Agile and Waterfall SDLC concepts

o Industry standard formats such as XML, SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022 &data transformations.

o Linux, Oracle, WebSphere, Java and J2EE technologies, Web frameworks (Angular, Angular JS).

o APIs, REST, Webservice.
