The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the APAC Manufacturing and Supply Chain FPA Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Provides comprehensive financial support to APAC M&SC Finance Director and APAC M&SC Senior VP
• Lead APAC M&SC Finance Operating Rhythm and coordinate with area finance team on past result and forward looking projection such as Month end, MRE, QOR, Operating Plan management
• Provide insights and analysis on key drivers of APAC performance for monthly, quarterly results and ad-hoc request
• Partner with the BG Finance M&SC leaders, area FPA and corporate FPA to innovate and create common tools to enhance COGS understanding by standardizing and centralizing M&SC reporting across regions and plants to ensure consistency in matrix reporting and drives productivity
• Report and provide insights on APAC Enterprise Operations COGS Financial results and other key performance indicators such as TVOS and Operating Expenses
• Area COGS modelling and target setting alignment with Area BG M&SC Finance
• Collaborate with Business Accounting team on COE Cash flow projection for report out with Corporate Tax and Treasury
• Work on Special projects as needed

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in accounting, finance, economics, or other business and/or finance discipline
• Seven (7) combined years of Finance and/or Accounting experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Excellent influencing, written, and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing Finance experience
• Creative problem solving - ability to work with diverse functional teams to evaluate and address key issues
• Strong financial acumen - ability to translate complex business problems into financial terms
• Strong experience influencing across the organization
• Solid understanding of multiple workstreams and how they come together
• Solid business knowledge and acumen as well as strategic thinking mindset
• Self-starter with ability to drive change
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• FP&A or Project management experience
