Job Description

Animator Job Responsibilities:

• Create, rig, and animate 3d models
• Transforming storyboards into animated sequences
• Managing files, animation libraries, and updating procedures documentation
• Integrating sound and syncing dialogue
• Animates story-driven character actions that are exciting, emotional, and compelling.
• Animates creatures, props, vehicles, and cameras, as well as actions based on storyboards, script pages or descriptions.
• Creates scene layouts using a library of assets.
• Composes and animates cameras in a cinematic style.
• Works with co-animators to ensure timely completion of character assets at the desired quality.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in multimedia arts, animation or computer graphics
• 1-3 years animation experience
• Mastery of 3D animation software like Maya, 3D Studio Max, After Effects. MotionBuilder, Mudbox, Premier, Cinema 4D, LightWave
• An understanding of aspect dynamics, animation rigging/set-up, and 3D character animation
• Knowledge of the software and hardware used in the post-production process
• Impressive portfolio
