Your field of responsibility

You will be part of the APAC Client Asset Protection Control team based in Singapore office. Your team supports the APAC Operations and Country Management in driving the change program and development of the Client Asset Tool and related infrastructure. In partnership with the Business, Line Operations teams, General Counsel, Compliance and Risk teams, your main responsibilities include the following:

  • Drive the APAC Client Asset Protection Program to expand the governance and control over Client Asset Protection across Wealth Management and Markets Businesses in APAC region, as well as other Client Asset related programs and initiatives
  • Adopting the Agile framework, conduct business analysis and manage the Product Backlog
  • Coordinate new process implementation, process changes, and conduct process analysis
  • Manage any process and control reviews and testing requirements of the wider Client Asset Protection team
  • Centrally coordinate any responses from Operations to internal/external auditor or regulators in relation to Client Assets
  • Face-off with external parties or regulatory bodies in demonstrating compliance with the client asset regulations
  • Provide support to Compliance to establish Client Asset related policies & training programs
  • Act as the change agent with subject matter expertise on client asset regulations and processes
  • Collaborate with the APAC Client Asset Production and Governance team based in Pune to deliver the change programs and initiatives. Oversee the team to ensure the governance and control of client asset reconciliation, segregation, and regulatory reporting processes.

Your skills and experience


We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Degree holder with at least 10-12 proven years of banking experience in Change Management, and Operations, Risk & Control or Compliance
  • Proven product knowledge and experience on cleared/OTC derivatives, securities, FX, money market, fixed income and loans is preferred
  • Demonstrable project management, business analysis and/or Agile experience as Product Owner
  • Proven ability to innovate, deliver and inspire change
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Proactive with strong control attitude, analytical skills with high degree of accuracy
  • Partner management across departments and different seniorities
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Adept in simplifying complex issues.
  • Ability to forge strong working relationships across departments in a global organization
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Preferred but not mandatory, knowledge of client asset processing and/or rules, or experience in governance and control
