We\'re seeking a future team member for our Asset Servicing team as Senior Vice President, Client Implementation located in Singapore in HYBRID positions.

In this role, you\'ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manages all aspects of a project from initiation to completion as per BNY Mellon frameworks and procedures.
  • Responsible for leading cross-functional teams across multiple locations that are focused on managing aspects of the project/program to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
  • Develops, defines, and executes project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Identifies needed resources for projects and defines and assigns major project roles.
  • Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
  • Monitors the program/project from initiation through completion.
  • Leads and provides direction and guidance for many activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to internal client specifications.
  • Manages and oversees the end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, internal client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of high complexity. Directs and controls all work performed.
  • Reports and escalates progress/issues to senior management, as needed.
  • Manages vendor and client relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met.
  • Maintains regular contact with clients and coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments.
  • May provide input for (project) team member performance appraisals.
  • Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project.
  • May coordinate resources across organizational boundaries.
  • Serves as a liaison between clients and internal groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Manages communication with business leaders at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues.
  • Manages client expectations and ensures project delivery
  • Leads project management activities for implementation/transitions/conversions such as reporting, planning, issue / risk tracking, scheduling, effort estimation, day-to-day tracking, and other project documentation preparation.
  • Identifies significant gaps or quality issues in transition processes and makes recommendations for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Maintains a book of clients and ensure that client activity on an account is maintained once an account is opened.
  • Supports complex conversion activities related to a mix of complex institutional client relationships requiring the in-depth understanding of custody and accounting processing activities.
  • Completes an accurate conversion of data on financial statements for daily, weekly, or monthly valuation clients.
  • Supports and reviews control reports to effectively mitigate risks and resolve problems that arise during the conversion process.
  • Ensures all activity meets any compliance, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in UAT, on boarding and fault resolution.
  • Responsible for overall success of moderately-sized or complex transitions, ensuring client satisfaction through the monitoring of project quality and efficiency and management of the direct client experience.
  • Acts as a Team Lead and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues
To be successful in this role, we\'re seeking the following:
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 15+ years of total work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Asset Servicing (especially Middle Office outsourcing), Investment management or Banking operation processes and systems preferred
  • Experience in client implementations preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills required
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
