In this role, You will, Oversee billings to ensure timely invoicing and accurate and timely recording of transactions in accounting system. Monitor weekly debtors\' aging reports and work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely collection. Update Management on the monthly debtors\' reporting and highlight actions to clear outstanding debts with timeline based on debt monitoring policy. Track and establish root causes to improve service levels to internal stakeholders. Plan and monitor the progress of the monthly finance close process to ensure timely and quality closing. Monitor and review (including anticipating and taking proactive action) monthly audit schedules and bank reconciliations to ensure resolutions of discrepancies (if any). Ensure accurate reporting of financials by ensuring that anomalies and unusual trends are validated and errors (if any) are rectified timely. Supervise the outsourced service provider and ensure that they meet service standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Track and monitor the quality of the outsourced service provider's service delivery and monitor the Key Performance Indicators, including resolutions are effective in meeting service standards. Develop and implement initiatives to improve finance operations Ensure Standard Operating Procedures for finance operations\' processes are documented and kept up to date with changes. Administer the appointment of approving officers and approving authorities matrix. Liaise with internal or external auditors for audit queries. Any other ad-hoc duties or projects assigned.What we are looking for:We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following; Background in Business or Accountancy, ACCA qualification or equivalent. At least 5 years of relevant working experience with audit and project management experience. Experience in external audit would be advantageous. Good knowledge of internal controls Proficient in Microsoft office applications (e.g. excel) and IT savvy with using different systems. Application of Financial Reporting Standards, generally accepted principles, best practices, and financial/tax regulations Strong problem-solving skills, independent and resourceful.
