In this role, You will, \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee billings to ensure timely invoicing and accurate and timely recording of transactions in accounting system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor weekly debtors\' aging reports and work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely collection. \xe2\x80\xa2 Update Management on the monthly debtors\' reporting and highlight actions to clear outstanding debts with timeline based on debt monitoring policy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Track and establish root causes to improve service levels to internal stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and monitor the progress of the monthly finance close process to ensure timely and quality closing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor and review (including anticipating and taking proactive action) monthly audit schedules and bank reconciliations to ensure resolutions of discrepancies (if any). \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure accurate reporting of financials by ensuring that anomalies and unusual trends are validated and errors (if any) are rectified timely. \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervise the outsourced service provider and ensure that they meet service standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Track and monitor the quality of the outsourced service provider\'s service delivery and monitor the Key Performance Indicators, including resolutions are effective in meeting service standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and implement initiatives to improve finance operations \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure Standard Operating Procedures for finance operations\' processes are documented and kept up to date with changes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Administer the appointment of approving officers and approving authorities matrix. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with internal or external auditors for audit queries. \xe2\x80\xa2 Any other ad-hoc duties or projects assigned.What we are looking for:We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following; \xe2\x80\xa2 Background in Business or Accountancy, ACCA qualification or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 5 years of relevant working experience with audit and project management experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in external audit would be advantageous. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge of internal controls \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in Microsoft office applications (e.g. excel) and IT savvy with using different systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Application of Financial Reporting Standards, generally accepted principles, best practices, and financial/tax regulations \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong problem-solving skills, independent and resourceful. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to adapt and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
