Job scope: Develop and maintain professional relationships with local and international corporate clients Support the bidding process Support the sales strategy set by the Sales / Business Development Manager in conjunction with the Management Support to achieve the sales targets / plans Responsible for the verification of customer credit worthiness with respect to financial and liability issues Support post bid analysis to be performed by both successful and unsuccessful tenders Support the preparation of tenders for existing and prospective clients Obtain market intelligence about new projects Represent company, both externally to clients and internally to the organization, in a professional manner Responsive and comprehensive customer service via phone and email. Inform customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer. Development and maintenance of strong long- term customer and vendor relationships Overseas communications that include anticipation of needs in overnight correspondence. Requirements: Diploma/ Degree in a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience (project logistics / Supply Chain / freight forwarding preferred) Good understanding of various industries like power / marine / mining / oil and gas etc Has good communication and interpersonal skills Has strong problem-solving and analytical ability
