You will oversee the day-to-day management of client accounts, managing upwards and downwards to ensure the consistent delivery of excellent work. You will play an important role in the agency, establishing trust with key clients and providing guidance to junior team members to help them grow and thrive.In this role you will: . Confidently manage the day-to-day running of client accounts, ensuring that they are run effectively and efficiently to produce consistently high-quality work . Work hand-in-hand with senior support to develop and refine creative communications strategies that inspire your clients and engage their target audiences . Develop and execute strategic local and regional media relations programmes, cultivating relationships with key media and creating compelling angles that deliver impactful results . Build trust with your clients by demonstrating a passion for and deep understanding of their business and the role of communications . Play an active part in business development, supporting the senior team to identify new business opportunities and contributing to new business proposals . Be a valued and visible member of the Spurwing team, supporting the senior management by taking ownership of client accounts and acting as a role model for junior membersAbout you: . 5-7 years' experience in communications, ideally from an agency . Experience in project management, effectively managing multiple workstreams simultaneously . A strong track record in nurturing excellent client and media relations, with outstanding interpersonal skills . A talented writer with a flair for storytelling . An energising, can-do attitude with a thirst for learning and self-development . High levels of initiative and drive, with a well-developed commercial acumen and professional work ethic . A deep understanding of public relations and digital communication . Knowledge of what is going on in the global healthcare, food and/or nutrition sectors . A Degree or higher in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism or any communications-related field is preferred but not essential.Does this sound like you?
