About Currency Currency Design is an established homegrown design studio that offers creative direction and content across mediums of expression to build strong brands and well-designed outcomes. Check out our work at: http://currencydesign.info The Role: The Project Manager ensures that projects start, run, and end on schedule and deliver on all major milestones. S/he understands how design and creative projects work, and acts as the point of contact between clients and the design team to translate client needs into deliverables. The scope includes:

• Initiate, chase and close our projects with clients.
• Organize briefs into useful timelines and on-board team members on their tasks.
• Ensure the efficient use of resources (head-count, time, tools) to execute projects.
• Manage workflows and schedules using various project management apps.
• Manage clients\xe2\x80\x99 expectations with the design team\xe2\x80\x99s working style and deliverables.
• Manage chargeable fees, costs, and budgets using accounting software
• Assist the studio in engaging and securing new clients and partners.
• Any other duties as assigned.

What We Seek:

• At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in project management and liaising with clients, (preferably but not necessarily) in design or creative projects.
• Organized, time-sensitive, and familiar with the nature of design-focused work
• Personable and effective communicator who can engage people (clients, partners, designers) of diverse backgrounds and personalities.
• Analytical; does not shy from numbers or processes.
• Preferred but not required: Reputation and track record in running projects or operations for organizations in arts and culture, community and social enterprises, publishing, and/or creative agencies.
• Preferred but not required: proficient in Mac, Xero, Google Cloud apps, Notion, Discord.
