Job Responsibilities:
- Handling financial/accounting operations function
- Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges
- Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections
- Analyse significant monthly expense variance against budgeted number
- Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable)
- Review debtors aging generated from SAP for outstanding balances
- Communicate to verify status of delinquent accounts/billing discrepancies
- Timely and accurate prepare of financial, management and Group reporting
- Preparing audits schedule, audit confirmation letters to banks
- Preparation of year-end corporate tax assessment submission
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agent in annual statutory
- Manage and supervise of junior finance staff
- Improves and streamlines financial and internal control procedures
- Other duties will include ad-hoc projects such as system implementation
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 5-10 years of working experience in manufacturing industry
- Good knowledge of financial accounting and costing, including regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Knowledge with SAP will be an advantage
- Available immediately or within short notice will be given preference
