Account Procurement Lead for Singapore

Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERALL ROLE

The Account Procurement Lead is responsible for all the sourcing management activities across all sites or in-scope for Singapore within the account. You will be the Procurement focal point for the account and lead the implementation of the sourcing strategies and vendor management. Experience in facilities management environment.

Key traits: Strategy formulation

In this account-based role, you are responsible to create and execute sourcing strategies for related spend categories. This role will require you to identify and map out savings for the account, whilst ensuring seamless interaction with all supporting functions. It is imperative you identify risks and take necessary measures to mitigate, through the implementation of effective sourcing strategies, contractual and vendor management.

Key traits: Planning, leading, executing.

As the Singapore strategic sourcing lead, you will manage the sourcing and manage relationships with all key stakeholders e.g., client, account team, central procurement, and suppliers. You will also need develop and implement an annual sourcing plan and programs to bring value to the account.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership

\xe2\x80\x93 Support the development of the category strategies and lead sourcing plans and the implementation of those

strategies

\xe2\x80\x93 Serve as the subject matter expert for the category area and to maintain and develop this knowledge

\xe2\x80\x93 Support and drive initiatives for the defined key suppliers of the category, and client programs not limited to responsible, sustainable, compliance, diversity, equity & inclusion programs.

Client/Stakeholder Management

\xe2\x80\x93 Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the collation of category requirements including spend,

demand, supplier performance and service requirements in a logical format.

\xe2\x80\x93 Drive business relationship with the other team members

\xe2\x80\x93 Be the Main point of contact in the resolution of escalated supplier issues and ensure appropriate supplier

management and performance metrics have been agreed.

Business Operations

\xe2\x80\x93 Design sourcing plans and deliver those strategies directly or indirectly as business requires. Balances the

business needs, company risk and supply market capability to determine the optimum route to deliver maximum value.

\xe2\x80\x93 Ensure sourcing strategies are aligned to account strategy or Client deliverables.

\xe2\x80\x93 Drive operational compliance in the areas of contract management and insurance certificates.

\xe2\x80\x93 Manage, in conjunction with Account Lead, the supplier spends to achieve baseline targets including glide

path savings

\xe2\x80\x93 Support any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting Leads, not limited to the duties / responsibilities as

described, to support the business requirements.

Management

\xe2\x80\x93 Deliver sourcing plans in a consistent way and manage the sourcing activities on behalf of the Client.

\xe2\x80\x93 Develop, implement, and maintain Rfx & other procurement/sourcing related documents and reports.

\xe2\x80\x93 Build consensus and deliver \xe2\x80\x9cbuy in\xe2\x80\x9d at account level for sourcing strategies. Steer consistent implementation

across all sites within the account.

\xe2\x80\x93 Track, review and report on sourcing project performance, plan implementation and use this information to

determine opportunities for further improvement to category strategy definition and target setting.

\xe2\x80\x93 Manage risk to the account through robust sourcing strategies and sourcing management and by ensuring

adherence to corporate compliance, platform, and policy.

- Responsible for supplier contract management and supplier performance management.

Minimum 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a related Cost or Procurement / Supply Chain Management role

Strong understanding of facilities management industry preferred

Excellent communication and reporting skills

Experience working with diverse stakeholders and is capable of working independently

Logical approach and high attention to detail

Bachelor\'s degree, Real Estate, Construction Management or equivalent preferred
