Accountant

As

Accountant

at NTS Singapore, you will be responsible for maintaining the full set of accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS standards. You will play a crucial role in our Finance team, handling day-to-day accounting operations while supporting strategic financial planning and analysis. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will ensure timely month-end closings, prepare management reports, and contribute to process improvements that enhance our financial operations.

Furthermore, your key responsibilities are:

Maintain full set of accounts and ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and forecast in accordance with IFRS accounting standards; Prepare monthly management reports including current month's closing results and 3-month forecasts; Reconcile intercompany balances/transactions and ensure account reconciliations are performed and reviewed; Prepare weekly cashflow reports, bank reconciliations and journal entries; Handle annual audit coordination and work with tax agents for annual filing and GST submissions; Assist in new processes and system implementation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness; Guide and manage a team of Accounts Executive.

Job Requirements

Diploma or equivalent in Accounting with Accounting Professional qualifications; Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounting and Finance functions; Strong knowledge of Accounting and finance principles and practices, with experience in project costing and accruals; Good knowledge of ERP systems in general - Navision and SAP knowledge is helpful; Team player with confidence and maturity to work efficiently with different levels in the organization; Proven ability to manage and mentor team members; Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
