Accountant / Senior Finance Executive (gl / West)

Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly closing and bookkeeping/GL
- Preparation of monthly management reports and monthly variance and trend analysis
- Monitor the results of business activities and project spending, identifying variance and initiating corrective actions
- Provide timely and accurate information to the business units and management on the business\xe2\x80\x99 performance
- Ensure compliance to Group Financial Authority Limits, Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), company policies and other regulations to achieve business excellence
- Support the business units in budgeting, forecasting and planning
- Responsible for the correct coding of the general ledger accounts and GST codes
- Prepare balance sheet schedules and follow up on outstanding items
- Updating the fixed assets and leased asset register
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accounting / Finance or possess other Accounting professional certifications
- Preferably 2 year(s) of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of SAP, ERP, and Microsoft office application
- Organized, systematic, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines
