As part of this MH Asia Pacific region, this position in the regional office is responsible for:

• External financial reporting including for group consolidation purpose
• Managing the external audit of the company with the external auditors and dealing with internal auditors for internal audits performed
• Overall company fixed assets, leases and overhead cost accounting matters

This position will be responsible for driving excellence and adding value to processes, building efficiencies, providing regional support while complying with all necessary regulations and controls. Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for analysis, accounting, external financial reporting, and implementation of company policies, for MHAPS, in accordance with local and Group accounting standards and IFRS
• Manage the external audit of the company with the external auditors and deal with internal auditors for internal audits performed.
• Reporting of financials for group consolidation purposes
• Manage representative offices\' payment and its accounting matters
• Manage fixed asset addition/disposal/depreciation and IFRS16 leases accounting
• Overhead cost journal posting and preparation of monthly balance sheet schedules
• Adhoc duties and projects as assigned. Where feasible, analyse, recommend and implement automation/digitalisation of financial related processes to ensure that the processes are efficient, simplified and dematerialisation while still fully compliance with local and MH guidelines.

PROFILE

• Holds a university degree in Accountancy
• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably with experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm and/or MNCs
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and corporate accounting requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and using accounting reporting systems and tools, such as SAP, Hyperion Essbase, Concur
• Fast learner and independent, with a continuous improvement mindset
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changing environments, e.g. new reporting tools, emerging accounting standards, corporate governance, risk management
• Good oral and written communication
• Work well with colleagues and stakeholders, team player
