Accounts Assistant

Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated accounts assistant to join our finance team to perform AP, AR, book keeping and other related tasks. Our office is in Loyang Crescent and a company bus is provided from and to AMK with stops in Hougang and Pasir Ris. Our working hours are from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by performing data entry of daily transactions into accounting systems. Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded and discrepancies are identified and resolved. Manage daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and issuing customer invoices. Process employees' payroll, claims and reimbursements. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of journals, schedules and performing checks. Support the preparation and submission of GST, tax and other financial filing requirements. Handle relevant ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements
Education: Diploma or higher qualifications (accounting, finance, or related fields preferred). Fresh graduates welcome. Experience working in similar book-keeping or accounting roles is a plus Skills:
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude with a desire to learn and work with others is essential
