The Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting the Financial Controller in managing the accounts payable function for an organisation. This role will also perform financial accounting and management accounting for the company.
1. Handle Accounts Payable Invoices
2. Preparation of payments to vendors on a timely basis
3. Data entry of PO invoices into the system
4. Data entry of goods return notes into the system
5. Ensuring of compliance with statutory and accounting regulations including GST Reporting
6. Preparation of month end schedules and reports where required
7. Vendor liaison and relationship management
8. Assisting direct manager in audit and taxation assignments
9. Project duties assigned by direct manager
10. Any ad-hoc assignments required from direct manager
