An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Executive to join the Sugar team in Singapore.
We are seeking a self-starter and detail-oriented individual to build a career in the Sugar industry. With the desired attitudes and mindset, the Accounts Executive will gain knowledge about commodity trading for future growth and development of a professional career in the agricultural commodity industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounts Executive is responsible for day-to-day finance activities and engages in financial and management reporting. The Accounts Executive is seen as a business partner to the Commercial and Operations teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Support daily treasury activities and regular cashflow forecast.
Prepare and submit weekly & monthly management reports including but not limiting to AR ageing report and Counterparty risk report.
Manage staff reimbursement and monitor petty cash imprest system.
Manage AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets and bank reconciliation.
Handle intercompany transactions and end to end processes.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare, review and coordinate GST submission.
Assist in audit and tax matters to ensure compliance with local statutory and group requirements.
Liaise with banks on trade finance matters as required.
Any ad hoc assignments.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Diploma or equivalent in Accountancy, Business, Business Administration and Business Finance
Preferably with at least 3 years of working experience
Possess keen willingness to learn about commodity trading
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Dynamic team player with ability to work Independently
Able to work in a methodical, detailed, and accurate manner
Strong PC skills with proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting system and reporting system (e.g. Hyperion)
Able to thrive in multitasking working environment and adhere to tight deadlines
* Possess positive attitude towards working overtime to fulfil duties as required
