The Accounts Executive, Credit is responsible for ensuring that aging does not exceed more than 60 days and monitor for over credit limit and liaise with clients AP department for payments by the end of every month or as and when required.

  • Take responsibility for the following accounts: Airlines, Corporate and Travel Agents accounts
  • To ensure that aging does not exceed more than 60 days and monitor for over credit limit
  • Liaise with clients’ AP department for payments by the end of every month or as and when required
  • Print SOAs at the start of every month to email to clients as well as chase for any remaining outstanding payment
  • Reconcile payments in Opera accurately
  • Charge VCC for online travel agent platforms
  • Research, investigate and resolve disputes and discrepancies raised by DBS / Amex / any other relevant parties
  • Look into disputed invoices inquired by clients (Travel Agents / internal parties)
  • Monitor Adyen and SecurePay for charging and posting of payments
  • Assist any colleagues experiencing difficulties in using the applications
  • Maintain the credentials and logins for Adyen Accounts (Change of password, deletion of user accounts, creations of new accounts)
  • Ensure all bookings that require prepayments are done
  • Work closely with Front Desk and Reservations departments to ensure that the guest reservation, room rate, payment mode and other billing arrangements are correct
  • Monitor deposit and guest ledgers, follow-up on debit or credit balances for overdue accounts.
  • Posting and contra of payments for festive season billings
  • To perform any other related accounting duties as directed
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Accountancy or higher
  • Preferably 1 year experience in similar size/style of operations
  • Knowledge in Opera System will be an advanteg
  • Strong Accounting and billing knowledge
  • Confidently able to resolve problems
  • Career focused, wanting to grow and develop, self-driven
  • Able to work independently under pressure and with an eye for detail
