About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accounts Executive to manage the accounts of a listed company and its subsidiaries. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical accounting skills, hands-on experience with full sets of accounts, and proficiency in Sage accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full sets of accounts (AR, AP, GL, and Analysis) for a listed company and its group subsidiaries. Handle month-end and year-end closings, prepare journal entries, and maintain monthly account schedules. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses in accordance with accounting standards. Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and bank reconciliations to ensure effective liquidity control. Manage creditors and debtors, ensuring timely billing, payments, and collections. Prepare and submit tax filings, GST, and other statutory reports accurately and on time. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary during audits and compliance reviews. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial and accounting functions. Support management in budgeting, financial analysis, and internal control improvements. Perform other ad hoc finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in handling full sets of accounts, ideally in a listed company environment. Proficient in Sage Accounting Software (knowledge of other ERP systems is a plus). Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), tax, and compliance regulations. Meticulous, analytical, and able to meet deadlines under pressure. Independent, resourceful, and proactive with good communication skills.
