Job Description


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly closing and financial reports independently under minimum supervision.
  • Manage various aspects of month end AR & AP closing activities.
  • Prepare cheques, payment vouchers, journal vouchers, bank reconciliations and debit note / credit note issuing.
  • Ensure timely payment to suppliers and monitor the daily cash flow movement to ensure sufficient fund was maintain for operation requirement.
  • Monitor and manage trade credit financing activities.
  • Liaise with auditors and bankers when necessary.
  • Ensure proper recording and filing of documents are maintained.
  • To perform other ad-hoc tasks/assignment as and when required by the management.
Requirements
  • Diploma or an equivalent qualification in accounting
  • Knowledge of ACCPAC system is an added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Meticulous and responsible
  • A team player
  • 5-day work week

Educational and Work experience
  • Diploma or CAT/LCCI in accounting
  • Similar accounting experiences
Expected Areas of Competence
  • Knowledge of ACCPAC system is an added advantage
  • Competency in Microsoft Office software, Words, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Meticulous and responsible
