The Opportunity: *We are seeking an Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager to improve our collections process. This opportunity will require the candidate to process and issue invoices, monitor collection progress, discuss outstanding projects and timeline with project managers, and summarize findings and make recommendations on outstanding backlog and accounts receivable balances. This position will report directly to the VP Finance while also coordinating extensively with the VP Operations.We envision this to be a part-time role initially (20 hours/week), with the potential to expand. Hours will be flexible but will require availability for live conversations with teams in both India and California.

What you will do:

• Pull a Weekly Accounts Receivable Report
• Note the balances that are more than 30 days past due & follow-up with clients
• Monitor processing of invoices
• Ensure timely collection of payments
• Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with the law
• Conduct credit checks
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports
• Organize records of invoices, bills and deposits
• Stay updated on industry and legislative changes

What you bring to the table:

• Ability to collaborate across a remote and diverse team

• Ability to be customer facing and represent the company in customer level discussions
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proactive, solution oriented mindset
• Prior experience with collections and/or QuickBooks Online a plus
