There are 6 million eCommerce merchants in the industry today, with more every day. We bring together software, provide a community with training and educational tools to help merchants navigate the eCommerce journey. We do this by acquiring and building software to cover the entire journey for eCommerce merchants.

This is why it’s important for us to find an incredible M&A Associate, who works hand in hand with the VP of Acquisitions and our CEO to help drive the M&A process, build pipeline, conduct robust financial models/analysis as well as provide regular updates and metrics post acquisition to the Senior Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Market research and analysis: Conduct in-depth market research on eCommerce trends to identify & recommend key segments within eCommerce that complements TCC’s strategy and vision
• Deal origination: Build and maintain an active database of potential targets (inbound & outbound)
• Business Development: Consistently building strong relationships with Founders / businesses in the ecosystem as part of creating our own niche and reputation within the eCommerce space.
• Financial modeling: Conduct in-depth financial modeling & analysis on potential target opportunities and make presentations to senior leadership to guide decision making
• M&A process: Support the entire M&A process from deal origination, through to due diligence & close
• Post M&A: Set up dashboards with key metrics post acquisition and provide updates to senior leadership team on ROIC and financial results

• 2-5 years at a leading investment bank / consultancy / PE fund
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with second-to-none interpersonal, leadership and presentation skills to work effectively with teams within TCC
• You’re an expert with PowerPoint and Excel, knowledge of SQL/Python or any programming languages is an added advantage
• Able to effectively manage upward and cross-functionally, without direct reports
• You'll be collaborative and always looking for ways to improve, progress and excel
• You’ve had experience in the eCommerce industry and preferably SaaS (nice to have).
• Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance
