Roles & Responsibilities The Office Manager is responsible for the overall management of the church office in carrying out administrative, operational support as well as property and facilities maintenance and management. He/she will lead and direct a small team of staff to achieve the fullest potential of this function. \xc2\xb7 Organise the team to provide secretarial support to pastoral staff; \xc2\xb7 Ensure office efficiency by planning, organising office systems and procurement; \xc2\xb7 Maintain manpower staffing through recruitment, selection, onboarding, training and scheduling; \xc2\xb7 Oversee the management of all official records and files; \xc2\xb7 Responsible for maintenance work on all facilities, property and systems including software and hardware replacements; \xc2\xb7 Responsible for the effective management, safety and security of the premises; \xc2\xb7 Oversee the leasing of church facilities and related services; and \xc2\xb7 Responsible for vendor management and tenant management including the kindergarten Candidate Requirements \xc2\xb7 Prior direct or relevant experience to fulfil this role will be preferred. Finance and/or IT qualifications would be an added advantage; \xc2\xb7 Demonstrates strong supervision, organisational, leadership and management skills; \xc2\xb7 Possesses excellent interpersonal/communications skills- listening, writing and speaking in an effective, clear, positive and persuasive manner; \xc2\xb7 Effectively bilingual in Chinese and English (written and spoken); \xc2\xb7 Analytical and able to make sound recommendations to the Board; \xc2\xb7 Proficient user of workplace technologies which includes office equipment, computers, social media platforms and related software including Microsoft Office Suite and Publisher; and \xc2\xb7 Project management skills would be an added advantage.
