Adoption Technical Consultant

What a Adoption Technical Consultant does at HP:

• Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project.
• Play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of technical solutions and devices to our clients.
• Work closely with the sales team, presales technical consultant, solution architect and clients to understand their technical requirements and business objectives.
• Understands a broad spectrum of HP technology in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design, which meets customer requirements.
• Tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications, firmware, and drivers; creating boundaries for as well as performing configuration and testing activities; applications programming for assigned modules within a larger program; assisting in the preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations; and participating in customer meetings.
• Works with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.
• Understands HP strategy and the role that the individual plays.
• Uses knowledge tools and re- uses information for the benefit of projects, and of professional development.
• Uses and contributes to technical forums within the HP environment and local professional communities and technical user groups.

Individual who does well in this role in HP, usually possess:

• 3 - 5 years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total).
• Proven experience as a Technical Consultant, Solutions Consultant, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and project management methodologies.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the pull print solutions, scan and workflow solutions, services, and technologies offered by the company.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure the use of cutting-edge technologies in the solution design.
• Knowledgeable in servers, network load balance, firewall and other networking technologies.
• Basic understanding of Azure, AWS, Google cloud.
• Understand Security concepts and how secure by default configurations.
• Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the delivered technical solutions. Create detailed documentation to support training and future maintenance.
• Able to produce documentation for use by team and customer.
• Experience in delivering enterprise-level solutions is a plus.
• Certification related to specific technologies or platforms may be advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
