Customer Support
Software architecture and coding
Requirements and design
Feature Definition
Integration
Certification
Verification and Validation
Ability to code in multiple languages
Key Experience & Capabilities:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
6+ years’ experience in embedded software development including requirement analysis, software design, implementation, testing, and support.
5+ years of C/C++ programming skills
Extensive experience with Linux/RTOS based software platforms
Design and development of device firmware using C/C++ programming languages
Software driver development and debug device drivers for Android, Linux and RTOS
Participate as the technical expert/liaison between customer support and engineering to resolve field issues
Architect and implement new features to satisfy customer requirements
Create test plans, performance standards, and develop test environments to ensure embedded radio technologies meet industry and internal specifications
Design and develop software test applications
Review and provide feedback on software changes of junior engineers
Participate in design reviews and priority adhoc meetings
Work with and help to maintain repository tools and infrastructure
