Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) is dedicated to providing confidential emotional support to individuals facing a crisis, thinking about or affected by suicide. We\xe2\x80\x99re non-religious and not for profit, our work focuses on crisis intervention and suicide prevention. Our services include, 24-hour hotline and Care Text text-based service that provide round-the-clock emotional support for those in distress and the service is manned by our trained volunteers. These services are supported on a Microsoft Dynamics 365 IT architecture.



Advancement & Planning (Communications) Internship -

Social Media:

• Draft and organize social media content to promote SOS posts, media coverage, and support campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
• Support in social media quantitative and qualitative analytics reporting
• Support general social media planning, research, reporting and coordination as assigned \xe2\x80\x93 specifically internal SOS campaigns for recruitment and for World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD)

Communications:

• Copyediting and supporting collateral revamp
• Marketing materials for WSPD
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating photo/video shoots
• Photo, video and audio editing
• Assist with digital asset management

Events:

• Assist in proactive planning and program content development for WSPD event
• Work with the ACE team to plan and execute all marketing activities
• Assist with donor acknowledgment and follow up
