Global Communications Internship - Sustainability Internship Program

As a Communications Intern, you will be part of Electrification Sustainability Internship Program of the Electrification Service Division of ABB, you will be putting theory into practice by developing key messages and content to help us effectively communicate our sustainability efforts to customers, employees and the broader community. Reporting to Global Division Communications Manager, you will be helping us to shape how we tell our circularity and sustainability proposition. This position is either based in Singapore, Moorebank or Fortitude Valley, Australia.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborating with the sustainability and communications teams to gain a deep understanding of our sustainability initiatives, ELSE strategy framework, and key product portfolio offerings
• Developing clear and concise key messages that effectively communicate the ELSE Sustainability initiatives to various audiences
• Creating a comprehensive message framework that ensures consistency and alignment with the ELSE strategy
• Aligning sustainability proof points with operational achievements and highlight their positive impact on our product portfolio
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and success stories for the communication of sustainability achievements
• Collaborating with marketing and PR teams to integrate the sustainability key messages into campaigns and communication materials
• Assisting in creating impactful content for digital channels and events, as well as for sustainability reports, presentations, and public announcements
• Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of the communications strategy and make improvements as needed

Your background

• Final-year student in communications, marketing or business and management or a related field
• Sound knowledge of storytelling and the interest in ESG and the role that technology and energy can play
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling ideas
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail
• Fluent or native English
