About our group:

We are a team of IT (Information Technology) professionals from Seagate. We are responsible for creating and implementing data-driven solutions to support business decisions and operations. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) allows for real-time data analysis and decision-making, predictive maintenance, and the optimization of production processes. We collaborate with the business teams to harness the full potential of Industry 4.0 - Real-time control, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, Automation and Artificial Intelligence to support the \xe2\x80\x9cSmart Factory\xe2\x80\x9d initiative, to make better decisions and maximize operational excellence.

About the role - you will:

Automated machine learning (AutoML) is the process of automating the tasks of applying machine learning to real-world problems. The intended aim of AutoML is to assist data scientists in their work and not replace them. It is also a good option for building models and allowing non-experts to contribute to the machine learning domain. You will work with our Data Scientists and Data Engineers to:

• Research and propose on a platform or open-source library that simplifies each step in the machine learning process, from handling a raw dataset to deploying a practical machine learning model
• Evaluate AutoML platforms with different dataset, e.g.Tabular dataset and IoT Time series dataset
• Some AutoML platform example:
  • Google AutoML (our focus)
  • Azure Automated Machine Learning
  • Auto Keras
  • Auto-sklearn

About you:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields
• Highly passionate about data science
• Keen interest in applying artificial intelligence/machine learning/deep learning techniques to solve real-word problems
• Proactive and a good team player
• Strong analytical skills

Your experience includes:

• Proficiency in Python programming
• Familiarity with AI machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries
