The Air Freight Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day operations such as the processing of documents, permits and other tasks related to air import and export jobs, and coordinating cargo movement with customers, overseas agents and freight forwarders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the correct type of permits are declared for each customer/shipment and that the information on these permits are accurate
- Update the status of the shipment in a timely manner to the customer/agent
- Verify the accuracy of the transportation details before collection or delivery
- Timely billing of shipments
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience in the related field and able to declare permits
- Team player and have a positive attitudeWillingness to learn
- Ability to swiftly adapt as rules and regulations change
- Able to coordinate with customers and truckers to ensure smooth operations and deliveries
