Job Description
Your MissionAs an Airport Emergency Officer, saving lives and minimizing property losses are your core mission. Equipped with in-depth aviation firefighting skills, you are an indispensable member of a specialized team required to perform rescue and firefighting operations during an emergency. You will be responsible for operating sophisticated world-class fire vehicles/vessels as well as specialized firefighting equipment.
- To prepare you for your role, we will provide you with a comprehensive 3-month Basic Airport Fire Fighter training. This training will cover the fundamental principles of firefighting and equip you with the necessary skills and techniques to handle aircraft incidents or accidents in accordance with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
- Upon completing your training, you will be assigned to an airport fire station, where you will put your technical expertise to the test and gain valuable operational experience. As part of your job rotation, you may also be posted to other airport fire stations or military airbases, providing you with a diverse range of experiences and challenges.
- Exhibits interest and passion about rescue work.
- Capable of handling the physically demanding nature of rescue work
- Displays a determined and resilient mindset, never giving up in the face of challenges.
- Possess minimum GCE "N" or O Level passes or ITE professional certification.
Candidates who meet the above requirements and demonstrate exceptional dedication, teamwork skills, and problem-solving abilities will be given preference during the selection process.
