An exciting AML/KYC Private Banking Support (one year contract) job has just become available at one of the most respected global private banking institutions based in Singapore. This is a role that will require you to report to the Private Banking Chief Operating Officer.

About the AML/KYC Private Banking Support (one year contract) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the private banking support function..

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform research on customer profiles through internal bank records and external sources
• Conduct name screening and carry out review and disposition on positive matches of alerts
• Identify accounts with AML concerns and escalate any suspicious activities from the customer due diligence reviews
• Ensure timely completion of review cases assigned
• Assists in monthly reporting to various local governance committees

To succeed in this AML/KYC Private Banking Support (one year contract) role, you will need to have experience in private banking compliance.

Key Requirements:

• A recognised university degree in accounting, risk management, and/or related discipline
• Minimum of one to two years\' experience in AML/KYC (wealth management). Experience in private banking compliance is preferred
• Basic Chinese language proficiency as handling/reviewing of Chinese documents/news may potentially be required
• Good judgement and analytical skills
• Strong self-motivation, with good communication, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
