  • Responsible for overseeing ANIT general and project budgets cross the Abbott Nutrition International (\xe2\x80\x98ANI\xe2\x80\x99) regions - specifically PA, MENAP, LATAM and EURISA to establish and operate an efficient financial control framework that ensures the delivery of IT financial and operational performance objectives in line with the ANIT strategy. The role support the ANI regions by interacting with cross-functional stakeholders including Regional Finance Directors, Affiliate Finance Controllers, BRMs and Corporate Finance (both Division and BTS) and the ANIT management team.

The role support the ANI regions by interacting with cross-functional stakeholders including Regional Finance Directors, Affiliate Finance Controllers, BRMs and Corporate Finance (both Division and BTS) and the ANIT management team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage Financial Reporting to US Finance / Consulting
  • Lead monthly Cashflow forecast and budgeting cycle/LBE
  • To collate from all BRMs/ PMOs for all their responsible project by 10th of every month
  • Ensure monthly accruals had been accurately accounted for
  • To ensure services that had been provide but late invoices had been booked for in the system (PMs to keep track)
  • Monitor expenditure for each project
  • Should a project cashflow is overrun and require more funds to inform the relevant PMs to extend or request for contingency
  • To collate all SOW, POs and Invoices for keeping track of expenses especially for milestone projects and validate the expense
  • Perform or aid in the analysis, review and accounting of projects and programs.
  • Bridge between ANI/Regional Finance and IT Dept
  • To assist in handling any queries from ANI Finance and Regional Finance
  • Be involved in assisting in RCE set up
  • Build strong working relationships with IT BRMs and ensure the required level of cooperation and support is achieved and maintained. At the same time assertively challenge them on all aspects of finance to support robust analysis of IT spend
  • To cooperate closely with accounting departments and resolve any payments and accounting related matters
  • Perform IT Finance related activities
  • Raise E-PO / POCN/ Addendum
  • Match POs to Invoices
  • To ensure that the E-PO will be closed before the deadline
  • Send Invoices to ALS invoice submission 3 days before month end
  • To send invoices, SOWs and POs to ALS for payment to vendors
  • Cross- charging , Performance charge and manual reclassing
  • To facilitate ICB, Performance charges and manual reclass of transactions
  • To ensure Capital Projects are being closed properly financially

  • To follow up with Global Finance for any queries from the us (IT Finance/BRMs/PMOs)
  • Showcase management skills
  • Sharing of knowledge to countries FCs
  • Partner and collaborate with key IT staff of other Abbott divisions in order to support cross divisional business initiatives, and explore synergies and efficiencies
  • Portfolio Analysis and reporting
  • Keep track of IT application portfolio:
  • Planned initiative, Projects, and Global portfolio; initiate talks and discussion on the progression
  • Administrate projects health checks with BRMs
  • Credits for Tech Debt reduction outcomes
  • Assist with all ANI Regional FP&A Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting and analytics (internal/ Division) including Plan and/or LBE where applicable
  • Run consolidated files and pull reports from financial systems for tie-out
  • Monthly Actual Commentaries Consolidation (budget and Forecast)
  • SG&AL workings file consolidation and tie-out
  • Support cost change exercises as required
  • Partner with Area Finance team to prepare all presentation slides and analytics where applicable
  • Provide support to ANI Affiliates as requested
  • Provide support to the Regional Finance Director in Division and Area Projects where applicable
  • Is compliant with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to the development of key financial processes and activities, including budgeting, analytics, business support and general accounting.
  • Leveraging Abbott Shared Services organization, support monthly close activities where required, provides clear and meaningful financial reporting and commentary. Ensures compliance and champions internal controls and procedures.
  • Develops forecasts and prepares supporting analytics and review materials for presentation to business partners and Finance leaders. Helps to manage risks and opportunities through the use of external and internal signals and data.
  • Partners with the business and finance manager to review and analyze projects. Assists with preparation and review of Requests for Capital Expenditure (RCEs). Provides analytical support for contract negotiations.
  • Drives the consolidation of financial results and forecasts for part or all of a Corporate function. Delivers ad-hoc analysis and preparation of review materials for presentation to Business and Finance leaders.
  • Offer ideas and recommendations for continuous improvements and simplifications in financial and business processes.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, business administration or another discipline relevant for the healthcare industry or equivalent experience
  • 4-7 years of experience in large or midsized multinational healthcare organization.
  • Diploma or Accountancy degree qualification
  • Strong financial and accouting management skills.
  • Strong interdisciplinary, intercultural, influence, and networking skills
  • Develop relationships and trust with key stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate at all levels of business and with development team
  • Strong commitment to meet time line with accuracy
  • Formal training and experience in recognised business analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of Abbott operations
  • Some experience with vendor management
  • Qualification in GAAP
  • Business process relevant business
  • Strong computer knowledge on Microsoft application e.g. Excel, PowerPoint and Word
