Support the development of the department\'s strategy. Monitor and project daily cash positions and execute money market transactions to ensure the funding mix and funding cost are in-line with Bank\'s strategies and liquidity and interest rate risks are within pre-set risk.
Responsible for supporting Director of Dept in cashflow and balance sheet management.
Monitor and advise on the impacts of economic and regulatory changes.
Advise management on potential financial opportunities and risks.
Build effective relationships with key customers to develop new business and to deliver a high quality of service to customers.
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG BK and externally.
Work in partnership with colleagues across all regions to share best practice and deliver an integrated regional service for our customers.
Collaborate with regional offices and relevant divisions to tackle ALM issues and to comply with regulatory requirement
Work in partnership with Product Offices\xe2\x80\x99 from MUFG BK and MUFG entities to provide feedback on new products, support in leveraging their products and expertise as well as to maintain relationship for future business opportunities.
Collaborate with Head Office and other stakeholders to minimize funding expense in MUFG BK on global basis while maintaining funding gap and other risk related limits.
Work in partnership with Branch Managers to build relationships with financial institutions in the region to promote products and create business opportunities.
Work in partnership with Branch Management to drive liquidity improvement strategies to improve the liquidity of the balance sheet.
Work in partnership with Operations to ensure smooth reporting and processing of transactions to ensure accuracy and convenience for the customer.
Execute money market dealing under controlled supervision.
Provide competitive transfer price as well as ample liquidity in order to support customer-orientated business growth. Ensure fair and prudent benchmark rates setting.
Contribute to projects within liquidity risk, ensuring that procedure manuals are updated for the changes.
Enhance funding capability and contribute to the global funding of the MUFG group.
Support in understanding the local regulatory requirements and audit outcomes, assess and recommend a funding and investments plan for the Branch to ensure alignment with all relevant regulations.
Support in managing the risk profile for the department by understanding the regulatory changes, monitor the Branch\xe2\x80\x99s liquidity and prepare recommendations to mitigate liquidity risk.
Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
Adhere to all company policies / guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Degree qualified
1 \xe2\x80\x93 2 years of banking experience (knowledge of money market products)
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence others and sell solutions
Broad and extensive knowledge in liquidity management
Solid experience of benchmark setting
Strong understanding of the regulatory environment with particular focus on the local liquidity regulations
Knowledge of IBOR transition
Held Financial Markets Regulatory Practices (FMRP) Certificate (preferred)
High proficiency in Thomson Reuters Eikon, Bloomberg, Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Proficiency in VBA
